Vilnius College Invites Educators to Choose National Qualification Improvement Programs for Teachers

Vilnius College has launched two national qualification improvement programs aimed at enhancing teacher competencies using digital technologies.

Vilnius College, in coordination with the National Education Agency, has initiated two accredited national qualification improvement programs for teachers, focusing on integrating digital technologies into foundational education. The Dean of the Faculty highlighted that these programs, titled 'Modeling Primary Education Content Using Digital Technologies' and 'Overcoming Challenges in Mathematics Teaching with Digital Technologies,' have already successfully launched.

This initiative is part of a broader project to strengthen teachers' competencies within national qualification improvement programs and master's studies, backed by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, Science and Sport's education development program from 2021 to 2030. The project is funded through the European Union’s "NextGenerationEU" economic recovery and resilience fund, which aims to enhance educational practices and improve teacher training.

The Faculty of Pedagogy is actively inviting educators to enroll in these innovative programs, which promise to contribute significantly to the teaching landscape in Lithuania. By integrating language, culture, and digital tools, the programs seek to empower educators and adapt teaching methods to contemporary challenges in education, ultimately benefiting students across the nation.
