Triple murder at the hair salon in Uppsala – this is how the shooter moved
A man armed with two pistols executed three people at a hair salon in Uppsala and fled on an electric scooter after the attack.
In Uppsala, where last April's festivities were underway, a gunman wielding two pistols opened fire on two men outside a hair salon at Vaksala Square. Inside the salon, three other individuals were shot and killed before the assailant escaped on an electric scooter. Eyewitness accounts and rapid DNA processing led police to arrest a 21-year-old suspect just two days following the incident.
The suspect is believed to have committed these murders in Uppsala, as well as a previous shooting in Eslöv, allegedly for payment, a practice referred to as 'crime as a service.' During a search of the suspect’s residence, police found substantial amounts of cash and a handwritten note detailing his intentions and goals related to the killings, suggesting a disturbing calculation behind the attacks.
Authorities are now pursuing the alleged orchestrators behind these contract killings. The contents of the note indicate that the shooter aimed to gather a million kronor within two months, reflecting the organized nature of these violent acts and raising concerns about criminal networks operating in the region.
