The Graphics Workshops of Mexico has been found to have 68 million pesos pending clarification in the third report of the 2024 Public Account, primarily due to various financial irregularities. These issues include improper payroll payments, unnecessary procurement, and the early termination of contracts. This was highlighted following a comprehensive audit of the organization's financial transactions for this period.

According to the audit results outlined in the financial review, while the Workshops achieved one finding without irregularities, a significant portion of their expenditures raised concerns. The financial oversight pointed out 28 results, of which 27 indicated problematic aspects leading to three recommendations for improvement, nine fines within administrative accountability, and two sets of observations due to these irregularities. This indicates a deeper systemic issue that could require reform.

The conclusion from the financial audit suggested that, in general, the Graphics Workshops complied with legal and regulatory guidelines applicable to their finances, except for the noted irregular aspects. The audit scrutinized a representative sample of 59.2 percent of total expenditures amounting to over 2 million pesos, showing a clear need for improved financial oversight and transparency to address the highlighted discrepancies and restore public trust.
