CCTV footage has surfaced showing Tequilla King, 25, from Newcastle, violently impacting a shop on August 13 last year. The incident took place at the Premier shop on Newton Road, Heaton, where King, who had been previously banned, was recorded threatening employees with a knife as they attempted to protect themselves and flee the premises. The shocking nature of the footage has prompted a significant reaction from the local community and law enforcement officials.

During the incident, King displayed alarming behavior, swearing at staff before pulling out a knife and demanding to be let in. In the chaos, while many people rushed out of the store for safety, the manager chose to stay back, seeking refuge behind the Post Office till in order to contact the authorities. The video evidence illustrates the severity of King’s aggressive conduct, further highlighting the risks faced by shop workers in the area.

Following the release of the footage, Newcastle Crown Court sentenced King for her threats and violent actions. Recorder Nathan Moxon noted the seriousness of King’s behavior, which included repeated threats to stab the manager.
