He further solidified his place in the finals by securing 89.75 points on his second jump, totalling 183.00 points, thus ranking first overall.
Following Forehand in the qualifications were Austrian skater Matej Ε vancer with a total score of 182.25 points and Norwegian Birk Ruud with 181.00 points. Ruud opted not to take a third jump after finding success with his first two attempts, emphasizing the significance of executing clean landings and tricks, which is crucial in the competition's final outcome.
