Pierre Palmade, a well-known French humorist, is scheduled to officially finish serving his prison sentence on February 27, 2024. He was convicted in November 2024 to a total of five years in prison for causing involuntary injuries in a severe car crash that took place on February 10, 2023. The crash, attributed to his cocaine use, resulted in serious injuries to three individuals, including a pregnant woman who tragically lost her baby as a result of the incident. Palmade was sentenced to two years of imprisonment to serve and was incarcerated starting December 9, 2024, after which he was granted release on electronic monitoring in the spring of 2025 due to sentence reductions.
