The legal situation of Javier Duarte de Ochoa, the former governor of Veracruz, is set to be determined today in a federal court. A judge will decide whether Duarte should be formally charged regarding allegations of diverting five million pesos that were intended for vulnerable sectors, including children and senior citizens.
