Three schoolchildren have been convicted of manslaughter after luring a man they accused of being a paedophile to a beach and filming the violent attack that resulted in his death.
Three schoolchildren, a girl aged 16 and two boys aged 15 and 16, have been convicted of manslaughter for their cruel act of luring a man, 49-year-old Alexander Cashford, to Leysdown-on-Sea beach where they attacked him with rocks and glass bottles. The attack was premeditated; the children had messaged Mr. Cashford under the guise of the girl, who had earlier met him and received his business card. They ironically saved his contact under the name 'pedo', indicating their intentions against him, despite no evidence of his alleged paedophilia.
The horrific crime took place on August 10, 2022, and following their assault on Mr. Cashford, the children filmed the attack and shared it on social media, emphasizing the heinous nature of their actions.
