High school students in the state of Amazonas will have the opportunity to apply for a fee exemption for the Continuous Selection Process (PSC) on February 23 and 24, 2026. This exemption is specifically targeted at students enrolled in the state education system and is designed to help those who may face financial barriers to participating in this important selection process for entering the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam).

To qualify for the exemption, students must be registered in the Unified Cadastre for Social Programs (CadÚnico) and must have a maximum family income of up to half the minimum wage per capita. This initiative from the government aims to ensure that education is accessible to students from low-income families, thereby promoting greater inclusivity in higher education opportunities within the region.

The PSC, which is organized by the Permanent Commission of Competitions (Compec) at Ufam, consists of three stages.
