After Pran Pratishtha of Ram Temple, a business of 1 lakh crores across the country, revealed in IIM Lucknow study
A study by IIM Lucknow highlights a significant economic transformation in Ayodhya after the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Temple, with an estimated business turnover of over 1 lakh crores across the country.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple has marked an unprecedented economic transformation in Ayodhya according to a recent study by IIM Lucknow. Prior to the temple's construction, Ayodhya was primarily recognized as a sacred pilgrimage site, but the economic activities have seen a remarkable surge following the ceremony. The study conducts a comparative analysis of the economic conditions before and after the temple's establishment, revealing substantial growth in tourism, investment, employment, and revenue. It's estimated that the tax revenue from tourism-related activities could reach between 20,000 to 25,000 crores.
Moreover, the hospitality, construction, transportation, and service sectors are experiencing rapid growth in job opportunities. The study projects that in the next 4 to 5 years, around 1.2 lakh direct and indirect jobs will be generated in tourism, transportation, and hospitality sectors. The business turnover related to the Ram Temple's Pran Pratishtha is expected to exceed 1 lakh crores nationwide, with Ayodhya playing a crucial role in this economic upturn. Daily footfall to the temple is also projected to surge, further boosting local businesses and services.
This economic revival has broader implications for Ayodhya and its surroundings, transitioning it from a religious pilgrimage site into a hub of commercial activity. The findings underline the potential of religious tourism as a significant driver of economic growth in the region and could serve as a model for similar sites across India.
