Brits asked what they'd spend £500,000 on – and Gen Z give very different answer

The survey revealed distinct differences in priorities across generations, particularly highlighting the preferences of Generation Z. The data showed that 39% of Gen Z participants would choose to fund experiences instead of financial milestones, with a significant emphasis on thrills and enjoyment. In contrast, only 29% of this demographic indicated a preference for either saving or investing their winnings for future security. Moreover, about two-thirds of Gen Z respondents reported that they find lifestyle bundles—like travel packages or adventure experiences—much more exciting compared to traditional financial investments.

This generational shift suggests a cultural transformation in attitudes towards wealth and spending.
