Hillary Clinton: Accuses the Trump administration of 'cover-up' in the Epstein case
Hillary Clinton criticized President Trump's administration for allegedly covering up information related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Hillary Clinton has publicly accused the Trump administration of engaging in a cover-up regarding the handling of documents related to the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking at the annual Global Forum in Berlin, the former U.S. Secretary of State urged for the release of more documents, expressing concern that the process has been slow. She made these comments during an interview with the BBC, highlighting the importance of transparency for the victims involved in the Epstein case.
In response to Clinton's allegations, the White House defended its actions, claiming that they have done more for the victims than the Democrats ever did. Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Justice released millions of new files linked to Epstein, which have intensified the scrutiny surrounding Clinton and former President Bill Clinton. Although many of these documents reference Bill Clinton, there is currently no evidence suggesting that the former president has been involved in any illegal activities connected to Epstein.
The attention on the Clintons is further heightened by their scheduled closed-door depositions before a Congressional committee later this month. The committee seeks to question Bill Clinton regarding his connections and activities concerning Jeffrey Epstein, indicating a continued interest in ensuring accountability and transparency surrounding Epstein's case and the people associated with it.
