Emergency services, including 13 fire crews from the Generalitat, responded quickly after receiving multiple calls to 112 reporting the fire and smoke in the building's stairwell at around 9:10 PM. Upon arrival, firefighters found that the building had been evacuated, and the fire was declared extinguished shortly after. However, when teams entered the building, they discovered the first of the deceased, leading to a tragic toll on the local community.
