The local Municipal Guard (GCM) responded after being alerted about the situation, finding the woman emotionally distressed and with visible injuries when they arrived at the scene.
According to the victim's account to the GCM, she was surprised by the man as she returned home, leading to an aggressive confrontation where she was physically assaulted. In addition to the assault, the man threw her cell phone away during the altercation, exacerbating the situation. The victim was subsequently taken to the Unit of Emergency Care (UPA) for medical evaluation considering her physical and emotional state.
