Members of the South-East chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have announced their commitment to financially support President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign for 2027 by purchasing his "Expression of Interest Form." This initiative reflects their intention to rally significant youth and student support for Tinubu, highlighting their belief that he has proven to be a progressive leader deserving of their backing.

During a recent meeting at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra State, NANS Coordinator Okoye Okpala emphasized the organization’s focus on students' welfare and interests. With a planned mobilization of over 20,000 youths, the students aim to demonstrate their collective support through an endorsement rally, underscoring their proactive role in Nigerian politics.

The event resonated with the theme “Discovering purpose and working in ordination 2026,” suggesting that the leadership qualities and policy choices made by Tinubu in the past three years align with the aspirations and welfare interests of Nigerian students. This endorsement not only indicates the growing political engagement among student groups in Nigeria but also sets the stage for how youth voices will feature in the upcoming elections.
