Alex Allard attempted a deal with Epstein involving the luxurious Royal Monceau for 12 million euros
French businessman Alexandre Allard engaged in preliminary discussions with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein regarding a potential real estate deal.
French entrepreneur Alexandre Allard, known for the Cidade Matarazzo project in São Paulo, is featured in email exchanges with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as disclosed by the U.S. Department of Justice. Although there were limited direct conversations between Allard and Epstein, the communications reveal that Allard sought to discuss business opportunities with Epstein, including a luxury real estate transaction worth 12 million euros.
The documents indicate that Allard did meet Epstein in Paris and planned to have another meeting in New York during one of Allard's business trips to the U.S. However, these plans did not come to fruition as the two only communicated via Skype after the Paris meeting, and the proposed subsequent meeting ultimately did not materialize. This interaction has attracted attention due to Epstein’s criminal background and the nature of the discussions that were intended.
Allard's attorney, Leandro Chiarottino, clarified that the conversations were merely preliminary and superficial regarding real estate matters, reflecting a level of caution in Allard’s engagement with Epstein. The connection between Allard and Epstein was reportedly facilitated by David Stern, a prominent figure in the NBA, suggesting that Allard was navigating a complex network of conversations within elite business circles, potentially placing him under scrutiny due to his associations, despite the lack of substantiated commitments to Epstein's ventures.
