A 22-year-old woman has tragically lost her sight after being shot in the eye during an altercation that occurred on Saturday night at the Osmar circuit of Salvador's carnival, as confirmed by her family. The incident took place in front of the Castro Alves Theatre when a disagreement among festival-goers escalated, leading to gunfire.
