The Consulate General of Mexico in New York has announced that its mobile consulate will operate in two locations in New York state from February 17 to 20, 2026. This initiative aims to provide easier access to essential services for Mexican migrants, enabling them to complete various consular procedures without the need to travel to the consulate's main location. To utilize these services, individuals must schedule an appointment in advance.

The mobile consulate will set up in East Harlem at the Bilingual Head Start location on East 116th Street and in Brooklyn at El Mercadito Sunset Park. Operative hours at both sites are from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and the consulate encourages the Mexican community to take advantage of this opportunity to complete necessary documentation and access vital services closer to home.

This initiative is particularly important for the Mexican community in New York, as many migrants face challenges in accessing consular services due to transportation barriers or time constraints.
