Four Arrested from Haryana in Shooting Incident at Rohit Shetty's Home, Shooter in Contact with Bishnoi Gang
Four individuals from Haryana have been arrested in connection with the shooting incident at Bollywood director Rohit Shetty's residence, linked to the Bishnoi gang.
In a significant development regarding the shooting incident at director Rohit Shetty's home, Mumbai's Crime Branch and Special Task Force have arrested four suspects from Bahadurgarh, Haryana, in a collaborative operation. These arrests follow a request for assistance from Mumbai's Anti-Extortion Cell, indicating the seriousness of the threat posed to Shetty. The arrested individuals are now being transported back to Mumbai for further investigation.
The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana confirmed that the lead shooter, Deepak, was allegedly in contact with notorious figures like Hari Boxer and Arju Bishnoi who are said to be operating from abroad. This connection raises concerns about the involvement of organized crime in this incident. Reports suggest that advanced firearms were employed in the shooting, pointing to a calculated attack rather than random violence.
As the police investigation continues, it has been revealed that aside from Deepak, the other three accomplices, Sunny and Sonu, had been observing Shetty's residence before the attack, while Hrithik assisted Deepak and his cohorts in evading capture afterward. The implications of this case extend beyond Shetty, as it highlights the growing influence of gang-related violence in the film industry, prompting a need for increased security measures for notable figures in Bollywood.
