Cha'rai Hylton, a nine-year-old girl from the UK, has been dealing with an extreme reaction due to Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) after her family decided to stop the use of steroid creams that were prescribed for her eczema. Initially diagnosed at six months old, she had been using a steroid cream successfully until the age of five. However, her mother, Natasha, observed that the new cream was not helping and may have worsened her condition, leading them to stop its use entirely.

Since ceasing the steroid treatment, Cha'rai's health has deteriorated, resulting in significant flaking skin, insomnia, and hair loss. Natasha and her husband Cloron have been dealing with the challenges posed by their daughter's condition, which has reached such an extent that they find themselves vacuuming her skin flakes up to five times a day.
