Police in São Paulo, dressed as characters from the Chaves series, arrested five suspects during Carnival events, including arrests for drug trafficking and stolen goods.
In São Paulo's central Republic area, police officers adorned in costumes from the popular Chaves series successfully apprehended five individuals on Sunday, February 15th, during the vibrant Carnival celebrations. Among the detained were two men caught in the act of drug trafficking, with a seizure of marijuana cigarettes, and two women arrested for possessing stolen cell phones. Furthermore, on the preceding Saturday, police also arrested three other suspects in the same area, dressed as characters from the animated series Scooby-Doo, who were involved in cellphone thefts.
