Vabarna's Partner Talks Openly About Their Relationship's Beginning: It Was Very Complicated as I Had No Connection to His Divorce

Hanna-Liis Hendrikson, Vabarna's partner, reflects on the early stages of their relationship, emphasizing that it started as a friendship and professional collaboration.

In a recent episode of the Go3 series 'A Week with Jalmar,' Hanna-Liis Hendrikson, the partner of musician Jalmar Vabarna, shared insights into the origins of their relationship, which began approximately six and a half years ago. Hendrikson mentioned that at the time of their initial interactions, she was engaged in caring for Jalmar's children and had no personal relationship with him due to his previous marriage. Her role as a babysitter while pursuing her studies in speech therapy set the groundwork for their eventual partnership.

During their conversation, Hendrikson highlighted the professional nature of their early connection, describing how Jalmar included her in the organization of the Treski festival since she had a keen interest in events planning. Despite their friendly bond, characterized as more of a professional relationship, there developed a deeper connection over the years as they navigated their individual roles within the family and their respective careers.

As they evolved personally and professionally, Hendrikson decided to move to Tallinn after completing her master's studies and after Jalmar's child Kuu turned three and started attending kindergarten. This transition marked a significant milestone for her, indicating a shift towards building a life together, and underscores the complexity of evolving relationships where personal and professional lives intertwine.
