Two traffic accidents on the E18 in Horten involved 15 people and prompted police to seek a driver who left the scene.
In Horten, Norway, police reported two separate traffic accidents on the E18 highway near the Undrumsdalskrysset intersection. The incidents involved a total of 15 individuals across five vehicles. According to operations leader Vegar Dale Møane, one of the accidents was a secondary collision, where one car crashed into another as a result of the primary accident.
An additional vehicle, a white Tesla suffering front-end damage, reportedly left the scene of the accidents without stopping. Authorities are urging the driver of this Tesla to get in touch with them for more information. The series of accidents occurred while vehicles were traveling in a northbound direction on the highway, indicating a potentially hazardous situation in that area.
Emergency services attended to those affected, with one woman requiring transport to an emergency facility for further assessment. Three others were reported to have sustained minor injuries and were examined by ambulance personnel at the scene. The events highlight the ongoing risks associated with highway travel, particularly in situations where multiple vehicles are involved in incidents.
