Despite the ceasefire agreement, images of death and deprivation manifest daily in Gaza
The ceasefire in Gaza has failed to bring the anticipated safety and security, with ongoing Israeli attacks and dire living conditions for the displaced.
Despite the ceasefire agreement, the people of Gaza have not experienced the peace and security they hoped for; Israeli violence has continued, and essential aid such as food and medicine remains scarce. Many residents are now living in tents, which offer little protection from harsh weather conditions, leading to tragic consequences as several individuals succumb to exposure. The lack of structure quality and the compromised living conditions have devastated the population, with reports highlighting the unfortunate deaths of 18 individuals, including 15 children, due to the extreme cold. This situation illustrates the ongoing humanitarian crisis that persists in Gaza despite the supposed cessation of hostilities, leaving the community grappling with daily suffering and unfulfilled needs.
