A 67-year-old retired man from Vantaa expressed his shock upon receiving a bill from OP Pohjola indicating that both his and his wife's health insurance premiums would increase by more than 27%. Specifically, his annual premium jumped from €1,081 to €1,380, an increase of €299, while his wife's premium rose from €1,116 to €1,422, marking an additional €306. This steep rise in costs has significantly impacted the couple's financial outlook, leading him to remark that such large hikes appear almost unbelievable.
