‘T AMARÉ’ by Tony Grox & Lucycalys wins Benidorm Fest 2026 thanks to audience support
Tony Grox & Lucycalys have won the Benidorm Fest 2026 with their song ‘T AMARÉ’, receiving significant support from the audience.
The inaugural edition of the Benidorm Fest 2026, now independent from Eurovision, concluded with the duo Tony Grox & Lucycalys triumphing with their song ‘T AMARÉ’ which garnered a total of 166 points. This unique track combines traditional flamenco roots with modern electronic elements, showcasing the cultural richness and innovation present in contemporary Spanish music. The winners were awarded 100,000 euros, along with an additional 50,000 euros directed towards the songwriters, and they received a gold mermaid trophy as a symbol of their achievement.
In addition to the financial rewards, the duo has been offered exciting opportunities for international collaboration. Univisión, a significant player in the Latin music industry, extended an invitation to the duo for a trip to the United States where they will record a single with a prominent Latin music producer. This opportunity not only enhances their exposure but also signifies the growing influence of Spanish artists in the global music market.
Moreover, the festival also awarded the talented young artist Asha, known for her hit 'Yo ya no quiero ná' with Lola Índigo, with a chance to record a single at Spotify's flagship studios in Stockholm.
