According to the Brazilian foreign ministry, Itamaraty, more Brazilians have died in the Ukraine War in 2025 than in all previous years combined since the conflict began in February 2022. The ministry reports that a total of 23 Brazilian citizens have lost their lives due to the war, with 12 of these deaths occurring last year alone. Additionally, three more deaths have been confirmed this year within just over a month, highlighting a troubling trend of rising fatalities among Brazilians.
