The city of Bauru outlines the schedule for municipal services during the carnival holiday, detailing closures and modifications for health services, administrative offices, and municipal parks.

The city administration of Bauru, São Paulo, has announced the operational schedule for various municipal services during the carnival period. Administrative offices will close at 6 PM on Friday, February 13, and will reopen at noon on Wednesday, February 18. During the holiday, several municipal services will operate under special hours to accommodate the public's needs, especially in health services and emergency responses.

Health services will be maintained with urgent and emergency medical care available continuously at the Pronto-Socorro Central (PSC), SAMU, and four emergency units. The Basic Health Units (UBS) of Bela Vista, Geisel, and Chapadão will follow regular hours until February 13 and will resume services at midday on February 18. The city has also assured that the Tutelary Council will provide round-the-clock assistance via phone during the holiday.

Additionally, the Department of Water and Sewage (Dae) will have emergency maintenance services available for critical issues such as leaks. The announcement comes as a part of Bauru's commitment to ensuring that vital services continue to function during festive periods when many businesses and institutions are closed, promoting community safety and access to essential services during carnival festivities.
