In a heart-wrenching incident in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh, a 5-year-old girl named Muskaan was brutally mauled by a pack of stray dogs. The attack took place in Tahlawan Purwa village, situated in ward number five of the Dhanepur municipality, when Muskaan had gone out to relieve herself with her sister and two other girls from the village. The dogs surrounded Muskaan and attacked her, inflicting severe wounds, especially around her neck, which left her bleeding profusely.

After the attack, the other girls ran back to the village in panic to inform their families. Muskaan's relatives promptly rushed to the scene and took her to the community health center in Mujehna for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of her injuries, she was referred to the district hospital. Tragically, Muskaan succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital, and the doctors declared her dead upon arrival.

This incident has raised significant concerns regarding the growing number of stray dogs in the area and the safety of children. Families in the village are understandably distraught and calling for action to address the stray dog situation to prevent further tragedies. The local community is in mourning, and there is a heightened demand for improved safety measures to protect children from such violent animal attacks.
