On Friday night, police in Paraty, Brazil, seized over 8 kg of drugs from a residence believed to be a trafficking depot. The operation took place in the Condado neighborhood around 10 PM following reports from the public about suspicious activities at the location. The military police discovered a substantial quantity of drugs pre-packaged for sale, alongside various tools used in narcotics trafficking.
The seized substances included approximately 7.2 kg of cocaine, 700 grams of marijuana, 250 grams of hashish, and 90 grams of crack cocaine. Additionally, the authorities found communication equipment such as walkie-talkies and charging bases, typically used by criminals to coordinate activities. A total of 8.24 kg of narcotics was collected as evidence.
The drugs were transported to the Paraty police station for documentation of the incident, with no arrests made at the time of the report. This seizure highlights ongoing issues with drug-related crime in the area, reflecting the challenges facing law enforcement in combatting trafficking operations within Brazilian communities.
