In a dramatic incident that unfolded early this morning in Czechia, police apprehended a 66-year-old foreign man who was driving unlawfully on the D6 highway. The man was reported to be traveling at dangerously high speeds of up to 190 kilometers per hour in the opposite direction, raising significant concerns regarding public safety. Police received multiple reports from witnesses about the reckless driving, prompting them to take immediate action.

The situation began near Odravy in the Cheb region, where police were alerted to the foreign driver's erratic behavior. Upon locating the vehicle and signaling for the driver to stop, he ignored several warnings and continued at high speed. Police managed to pull him over near Chodov during a routine patrol, where a preliminary breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 1.33 promile, indicating he was well over the legal limit. Fortunately, a drug test came back negative, but the driver is now facing serious charges.
