The most popular car in Europe can no longer be purchased in Finland - 'Sold out and no longer available'
The Dacia Sandero, Europe's best-selling car, is no longer available for purchase in Finland as it has sold out.
The Dacia Sandero, known as the best-selling car across Europe, has officially run out of stock for new purchases in Finland. This comes after Automotive News Europe reported that a staggering 243,676 units were sold across Europe during the year 2025. Both variants, the Dacia Sandero and the Dacia Sandero Stepway, are no longer available for Finnish consumers, as confirmed by the local distributor.
The situation reflects the challenges faced by the Dacia model in the Finnish market. The importer noted that there was no compelling package in terms of variety and price for the renewed Sandero range that could suit the local market demands, leading to the decision to not include it in Finland’s offerings. This indicates a strategic shift in Dacia’s approach to the Finnish automotive market, potentially impacting sales figures and customer choices.
Last year, Finland saw the registration of only 163 Sandero units, which ironically is nearly double the amount registered in the year 2024. This situation raises questions about consumer preferences and market feasibility for other car models in Finland as Dacia shifts its strategy away from one of its strongest products in Europe.
