Her family reported that she succumbed to an aggressive and advanced cancer that led to multiple organ failure and cardiac insufficiency. Flávia earned her journalism degree from the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) in 2017. She built her career in Teresina, working as a reporter and communications advisor, and more recently was employed by the digital agency Global Monster.
