Clésio Carlos Ramos, a 45-year-old man, has been arrested after brutally assaulting his 44-year-old partner in their home in São Vicente, located on the São Paulo coast. The assault, which occurred on February 1st, resulted in the woman losing consciousness and required intervention from neighbors. Although the incident took place weeks prior, the arrest warrant was only executed recently. Both Ramos and his partner had been in a relationship for about 15 years, and prior incidents of domestic violence had been reported against him.

Witnesses reported that the attack included Ramos punching his partner, choking her, pulling her hair, and dragging her around their home.
