Analyzing the demographic details, of those who received the benefits, 71,579 were men and 32,075 were women. In terms of geographical distribution, the province of Buenos Aires had the largest number of recipients, followed by Santa Fe, Córdoba, and the City of Buenos Aires. The average payment for the unemployed in December 2025 was around $276,944, highlighting the economic support required for those impacted by layoffs.

Looking at the broader trend, when factoring in the previous year, 2024, an additional 174,335 individuals also received benefits, which brings the total over the two years of the current government administration to 328,182 beneficiaries. Compared to the data from previous years, such as 108,942 in 2023 and 86,268 in 2022, the numbers signify a concerning trend in job security and the need for robust economic measures to counteract rising unemployment rates in Argentina.
