A 21-year-old university student studying History at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Ufes) was arrested in Vila Velha, located in the Greater Vitória area, on suspicion of storing child sexual abuse material. The Civil Police found about one thousand videos and six thousand images depicting nudity and explicit scenes involving children and adolescents during a search of the suspect's residence in the Santa Rita neighborhood. This operation, which took place after police obtained preventive arrest and search warrants, was executed by the Cyber Crimes Specialist Delegation (DRCC).

The investigation into the suspect began approximately a month prior to the arrest, triggered by information received from the Federal Police through the Rapina system, which focuses on the identification and arrest of individuals involved in such crimes.
