A motorcyclist was killed and two others injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a car on BR-494 in Divinópolis, Brazil.
On Thursday afternoon, a tragic accident occurred on BR-494 in Divinópolis, Brazil, when a 79-year-old car driver attempted to cross the highway at an unauthorized location, resulting in a collision with a motorcycle. The passenger on the motorcycle, a 37-year-old woman, was also injured and both were rushed to the emergency room of Hospital São João de Deus.

Meanwhile, the car driver sustained only minor injuries and was treated at Hospital Santa Lúcia, with his vehicle being returned to a responsible party present at the scene.
This incident highlights ongoing issues of traffic safety in Brazil, particularly concerning the vulnerabilities of motorcyclists and the implications of driving without a license. It serves as a reminder for both drivers and motorcyclists to observe traffic regulations strictly to prevent such devastating accidents from occurring in the future.
