Judge Pedraz sends a report from the UCO indicating Ábalos in the hydrocarbons case
Judge Pedraz has referred a UCO report implicating former minister José Luis Ábalos in a corruption case linked to hydrocarbon dealings.
Judge Santiago Pedraz, overseeing the hydrocarbons case at the National Court of Spain, has forwarded a report from the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard to Judge Ismael Moreno, who is investigating the 'Koldo case'. The report indicates that a scheme led by businessman Claudio Rivas and commissioner Víctor de Aldama allocated 'one million euros to buy the will' of Ábalos, a former Minister of Transport and PSOE's ex-Organization Secretary, along with other public officials. Additionally, Pedraz has sent Moreno statements made this January by Aldama and businesswoman Carmen Pano, who claimed to have delivered cash at the PSOE's headquarters on Ferraz Street.
