During the International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair (FIIE) organized by Coparmex in Mexico, a delegation from Estonia introduced its e-Residency program, emphasizing its role as an economic bridge to the European Union. This initiative aims to foster dialogue and collaboration with the Mexican business sector, facilitating the integration of Mexican entrepreneurial talent with key players in the innovation ecosystem.

Guillermo Chávez García, the Business Development Coordinator for the program in Latin America, highlighted the significant advantages of e-Residency for Mexican entrepreneurs, particularly the access to European financial services. He pointed out that these benefits stem from the favorable economic and tax conditions that Estonia offers, enabling Mexican entrepreneurs to create and manage businesses entirely through a digital infrastructure.

The focus on e-Residency reflects Estonia's commitment to attracting international talent and enhancing global business opportunities. By promoting this program in Mexico, Estonia aims not only to strengthen bilateral economic relations but also to empower Mexican startups with the tools necessary to thrive in the European market, thereby positioning Estonia as a hub for innovative entrepreneurship.
