Private School Teachers' Pension Fund Awards Six Excellent Management Companies for Domestic Stocks in 2025

The Private School Teachers' Pension Fund in South Korea awarded six companies for their outstanding performance in domestic stock management during the year 2025.

On February 12, the Private School Teachers' Pension Fund held a ceremony at TP Tower in Yeouido, Seoul, where it recognized six companies for their exceptional performance in domestic stock management for the year 2025. These companies were selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of their contributions to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, the stability of stock management, and their ability to achieve excess returns. The event aimed to boost the morale of the selected asset management firms and strengthen long-term partnerships with them.

The six distinguished asset management firms awarded were NH-Amundi Asset Management, The J Asset Management, Midas Asset Management, V.I. Asset Management, Samsung Active Asset Management, and Kiwoom Investment & Securities. These firms were commended for consistently generating stable returns over a period of more than three years and aligning with the pension fund’s investment philosophy, which emphasizes social responsibility through their participation in the Korean Stewardship Code and other ESG capabilities.

During the award ceremony, Chairman Song Ha-jung expressed gratitude towards the asset management companies, highlighting their significant contribution to achieving an unprecedented return rate of 18.9% for the pension fund in 2025. He emphasized the importance of selecting excellent management firms to enhance the fund's stability and returns in the future, reiterating the fund’s commitment to recognizing firms that demonstrate outstanding performance in managing investments.
