Salta, Argentina will be hosting a half marathon and a 10-kilometer race on March 29, organized by the city’s municipality and the Salta Deportes agency. This event is part of the New Balance circuit and marks the third edition of the half marathon in Salta. Notably, this race will also be included in the newly established National Road Racing Championship by the Confederación Argentina de Atletismo, which features similar events in various cities across the country. Previously, the National 10k was only represented by a single race, highlighting the growth and importance of road racing in Argentina.
The competition is expected to attract some of Argentina's best long-distance runners, boosting not only the event's profile but also the local running community.
