Bratakos: EBEA and Region are Strategic Partners for a More Competitive, Productive, and Human Attica
Attica's regional government and the EBEA are forming a strategic partnership to enhance the competitiveness and productivity of the region.
The recent meeting of the Administrative Council of the EBEA, attended by Attica's Regional Governor Nikos Hardalias, emphasized a strategic partnership aimed at making Attica a more competitive and productive region. Hardalias highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue and collaboration with local chambers of commerce, framing it as a strategic choice rather than a temporary measure.
At this meeting, the Governor reinforced the significance of working alongside the productive sectors of the region, rather than apart from them. He announced the 'Attiki On' program, which boasts an impressive budget of 120.2 million euros sourced from European funds. This initiative has already gathered 1,301 applications, with 949 investment projects approved, showcasing a targeted policy designed to support small and micro-enterprises in Attica.
The implications of this strategic cooperation suggest a robust approach to economic development in Attica, aiming to enhance the business landscape and foster growth through collaboration between governmental bodies and the private sector. This may lead to a more unified effort in addressing the challenges and opportunities within the regionβs economy, ultimately resulting in a stronger and more sustainable Attica.
