On Thursday, October 12, police in Carmo do Cajuru, Brazil, arrested 43-year-old Ítalo Jeferson da Silva, the primary suspect in the murder of 23-year-old psychology student Vanessa Lara de Oliveira Silva. Following his arrest, he was taken to the local police station, located 115 kilometers from Belo Horizonte, where the investigation is being conducted.
