Formula 1 Schedule for 2026: One by One, All Races with Confirmed Days and Times
The 2026 Formula 1 season will kick off in March in Australia and conclude in December in Abu Dhabi, featuring 24 Grands Prix with the addition of Cadillac Racing.
The 2026 Formula 1 championship is set to begin in early March at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Australia, and will run through December, culminating in Abu Dhabi. This season, a total of 24 races will take place, with notable changes including the introduction of the Cadillac team that will field two cars. All the drivers from the 11 teams are currently training at the Bahrain International Circuit, aiming to be in peak condition for the season opener.
The schedule is similar to the previous year's, with the first race occurring from March 6 to March 8. The opening event will see Lando Norris, who had a stellar performance to win the previous season's championship with McLaren, trying to defend his title. One significant alteration in the calendar this year is the replacement of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix with the Grand Prix of Spain, which will take place in Madrid, reflecting ongoing shifts within the F1 scheduling landscape.
After the thirteenth race, there will be a summer break for European teams, allowing drivers and crews some well-deserved time off as they gear up for the second half of the season. As anticipation builds for the start of the season, the focus will be on not only the competitive races but also the strategic changes within the teams and how these adjustments will impact the overall championship race.
