Buenos Aires is increasingly becoming a focal point for cryptocurrency as Ethereum, the blockchain network facilitating numerous smart contracts globally, inaugurates its first offices in Argentina. This 300-square-meter space is located at Polo DOT, in the northern part of the city. Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, previously visited Buenos Aires for the Dev Connect conference, which drew in over 17,000 attendees from around the world and sparked significant interest in the local crypto community.

Following the excitement of the conference, which highlighted Buenos Aires as a burgeoning hub for Web3 technology, Ethereum has made a strategic move by establishing a physical presence in the city. In collaboration with Fundación Crecimiento, the company aspires to develop a mini 'Silicon Valley' at the intersection of General Paz and Panamericana.
