A year after the Delta Air Lines flight 4819 crash at Toronto Pearson Airport, federal investigators with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) have announced that they are currently in the "examination and analysis phase" of their probe. The incident occurred on February 17, when the CRJ-900 aircraft, operated by Endeavor Air and arriving from Minneapolis, landed forcefully on the runway, resulting in a fire and the plane flipping onto its roof. Fortunately, all 80 people on board β 76 passengers and four crew members β were safely accounted for, although 21 passengers did require hospitalization.
