A significant fire broke out at a restaurant located on Avenida Hugo Betarello in Franca, São Paulo. The establishment was closed when a passerby noticed smoke and notified the fire department. According to Lieutenant Frederico Munita from the firefighting team, the blaze predominantly affected the front area of the restaurant, where the kitchen was situated, resulting in extensive damage. The rear part of the establishment was not affected by the flames and was preserved.

The firefighting crew faced challenges in accessing the blaze, as they had to break down the restaurant's gate to reach the source of the fire and manage the smoke. Their efforts to control the situation lasted approximately 30 minutes. Thankfully, because the restaurant had not been open to customers, there were no injuries reported in this incident.

The site of the fire has been sealed off for investigation, which aims to determine the cause of the fire. This incident highlights the importance of prompt reporting and action in fire emergencies, emphasizing the critical role that bystanders can play in such situations.
