ASO, the event organizer, revealed that the first cobblestone sectors have been rearranged to reflect a strategy that previously injected dynamism into the race, as noted by Thierry Gouvenou, the technical director. The first cobblestone section, designated as N.30, will appear after about 100 kilometers, setting the stage for a rigorous competition.

Following the initial sectors, cyclists will encounter a rarely used uphill cobblestone section that spans 800 meters, adding an additional layer of difficulty to the race. This change aims to spice up the event, placing greater emphasis on riders' climbing abilities and strategic racing. The legendary Trouée d'Arenberg, a challenging and iconic part of the course, will be reached at kilometer 163. Other notable segments, such as the five-star sectors at Mons-en-Pévèle, will also be included, promising to test the limits of both amateurs and professional cyclists alike.
