The incident took place around 4:35 AM near km 92 in the district of Iguabinha, as Kogler was driving from Iguaba Grande towards Araruama. Reports indicate that he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll over on the road, leading to a catastrophic crash that left the car completely destroyed.
