Police request information: Safe crackers break into the same company in Tölz again
Police are seeking information following a break-in at a company in Bad Tölz, where intruders targeted a safe, causing significant property damage despite stealing only a small amount of cash.
In the early hours of Wednesday, intruders broke into a company located in the Bad Tölz industrial area of Im Farchet, targeting a safe in the office premises. According to a report from the Oberbayern police headquarters, the burglars managed to steal a relatively small amount of cash but left property damage amounting to several thousand euros. This incident is particularly concerning as it follows a similar break-in that occurred in May of the previous year when the same company's safe was stolen with a forklift and later recovered in a nearby wooded area.
During the May incident, the financial loss amounted to only a few hundred euros despite the substantial damages incurred. Now, investigators from the Weilheim Criminal Police are looking into the possibility of a connection between the two burglary incidents. Although details regarding the number of perpetrators and their escape route from the latest break-in are not yet available, police are gathering leads and calling on the public for any information that might help in the investigation.
The repeated targeting of this company raises concerns about security in local businesses and the effectiveness of law enforcement in addressing such property crimes. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, as the police seek to prevent future incidents and ensure the safety of commercial establishments in the area.
